The Internet of Good Things

The Internet of Good Things is a UNICEF-led initiative whose aims include decreasing the digital divide and supporting first time internet users. IDEMS is a technical partner supporting the redevelopment of the underlying functionality and redeployment for UNICEF country offices and beyond.

As part of the redesign IDEMS has been particularly challenged by the contrasting requirements to build a single system which accommodates both the needs of feature phone users and smart phones with limited connectivity. 

The vision for safe spaces online

One of the most inspiring driving forces behind this project is the desire to create scalable safe spaces online for youth and digital immigrants. The challenges this poses are immense but the goal is one IDEMS is proud to be contributing too.
